Hennepin Ave Closed from 26th St. to Lake St.

You may have seen the signs that starting April 1st, Hennepin Ave S will be closed for construction from 26th St. to Lake St. This will impact many of our commutes on Sunday mornings, so we suggest that you click here to read more about the project. You can also check out this map for more specific information.

For those approaching GT going south on Hennepin Ave, you can either cut over on 26th St. and take Irving St. down to 28th. St., or you can travel south on Hennepin Ave to 28th because there is local access, depending on the construction that is happening. If you are coming from the south, we suggest taking Humboldt up to 28th St.

Make sure to plan some extra time for traffic or choose a different route!

New Sermon Series called "The Ground of Love"

Join us for the next three Sundays as Pastor Zac preaches on Jesus' words on love in the gospel and letters of John and their intersection with Thich Nhat Hanh's musings on love in "True Love: A Practice on Awakening the Heart." If you've ever been curious to integrate different spiritual traditions, come on Sundays at 10:30am to wonder together with us. If you'd like to follow along during the week, we encourage you to pick up a copy of Thich Nhat Hanh's book; don't worry, it's a quick read! Order it here or stop by Magers and Quinn to pick it up.

Small Groups Starting Up June 2nd through July 5th

The Faith Formation Team is excited to announce small groups starting in June! We are collecting feedback to give us a sense of how many people are interested, what kinds of things you'd like to gather around, and what your availability is. If you'd like to be a part of a small group, or you would be interested in helping to lead one, you can fill out the interest form by clicking here or you can pick up a paper copy in the Commons to fill out. If you have more questions, feel free to chat with any of our Faith Formation team (Eve Clarke, Doug Pagitt, and Monica DeCausmeaker).

Through the month of December, we are holding a cash drive for Joyce Uptown Food Shelf, a non-profit that serves food-insecure individuals and families. We are matching up to $5,000 in donations through December 31st. You can either donate by taking a paper ornament off the giving tree in the Commons, or give online through the button below. Thank you for joining with us!
